I love New York City fiercely! I moved to New York City from New Jersey in 1981 to go to art school (Parsons School of Design) and never looked back. I am a mixed-media artist who creates photo-based projects. As a New Yorker and resident of the East Village (I grew up in New Jersey), I find myself drawn to photographing the streets of the city that I love so dearly. Oddly, I am compelled to take photos of ice machines wherever I go. Taking pictures of what is ordinary, ubiquitous and often overlooked is of great interest to me.
