During the summer of 2013, I was selected to participate in a public art for Sing for Hope Pianos. Eight-eight artists designed the exterior of pianos that were placed throughout New York City in public places. My piano, entitled ‘Beautiful Music’, was hot pink and adorned with a princess crown, angel wings and real and photographed images of tshatchkes. All pianos were brought to Josie Robertson Plaza at Lincoln Center for a final celebration. Afterwards, each piano was donated to a school or community based organization.
